Insurance
Dr. Spindel Bashoff does not participate with any insurance companies, and is therefore considered an out-of-network provider.  She provides all the necessary information for clients to submit claims on their own for reimbursement.

Process of initiating services
  1. Phone consultation – Dr. Spindel Bashoff engages in a detailed phone consultation to describe the services offered and ensure that they are a match for what the client is looking for.
  2. Initial evaluation – A comprehensive initial evaluation is completed prior to the start of therapy.  This evaluation includes an in depth interview as well as standardized assessment measures.  When working with children and adolescents, Dr. Spindel Bashoff will schedule separate parent and child interviews.
  3. Feedback and treatment planning – Once the assessment is complete, the next session is scheduled to review feedback from the initial interview(s) and discuss recommendations for treatment.  Dr. Spindel Bashoff’s goal is for clients to be fully informed and comfortable with the course of treatment and the outcomes they expect.
Hours
Dr. Spindel Bashoff works Monday through Thursday. 

Preparing for my first appointment
Background information and consent forms will be emailed to you and should be completed prior to the first appointment.  It is also recommended that clients contact their insurance providers to inquire about out-of-network behavioral health coverage and whether pre-authorization is required.
